The right back, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, joined the club on an initial one month loan from Farsley Celtic on 1st March 2023.

He signed for Farsley in October 2022 after he had completed his rehabilitation from an ACL injury.

Isaac had been training with the Celts since pre-season before officially joining them and came through the youth ranks at Leeds United.

Assenso went on to play for Scunthorpe United, Ossett Town, Hartlepool United, Belper Town and Scarborough Athletic.

The Leeds born player is also a student at the University of Salford completing a Applied Football Studies, Business, Management, Marketing and Related Support Services degree.

On 19th May 2023 it was announced that Isaac had returned to Farsley following the end of his loan move.
