Ethan joined the club on 23rd March 2023.

He is a pacey and diminutive player, versatile and can play full-back or on either wing and he has played in the Black Cats’ Premier League 2 side with former Lions defender Nathan Newall.

The 20 year-old joined the Championship’s U21 set up from Leeds United two years ago and made his senior debut against Manchester United in the Papa John’s Trophy in October 2021.

At Leeds United Ethan won the academy’s Player of the Season award at the end of the 18/19 campaign.

Kachosa was born in Leeds to a Zimbabwean family and attended Garforth Academy.

On 19th May 2023 it was confirmed that Ethan had returned to Sunderland following the end of his loan move.
