Ed joined the club on 16th January 2026 ahead of our trip to Warrington Rylands, he made his debut off the bench a day later in Cheshire.

The left back has been with the Tigers since 2023 after returning to Hull City following their choice to release him eight years earlier.

Devine joined Hull’s academy setup at U9s level before moving on two years later to join Scunthorpe United. He worked his way through the youth set up with the Iron before returning to East Yorkshire to play for the Tigers’ U18s side to sign a two-year scholarship.

He played regularly for Hull’s U18s side in the first year of his scolarship and went on to make his U21s debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League Cup.

In the second year of his scholarship he appeared regularly for the Tigers’ U18s and U21s sides.

Ed captained Hull’s U18s on a number of occasions during the 2024/25 season and was rewarded with his first professional contract in April 2025.

Following the end of Ed’s loan with the Lions he returned to his parent club Hull City having made one appearance.
