Central defender Courtney Meppen-Walters joined the club on 26th December 2022.
Meppen-Walters came through Man City’s academy before then going to play professional men’s football with Carlisle United.
Courtney has also played for Ashton United, Stockport County, Glossop North End, AFC Telford United and Radcliffe.
The defender is known for his goal threat having scored over 25 times in his senior career and represented England at U17 and U18 levels.
On 19th January 2023 it was confirmed that Courtney’s loan from Radcliffe had been extended until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
On 24th May 2023 it was announced that Courtney had signed a new deal with the club for the 2023/24 campaign, the defender made 21 appearances and scored two goals during his loan spell with the club.
After a one month loan at Nantwich Town Courtney signed a permanent deal with the Dabbers on 26th January 2024.
Courtney made 26 appearances in total for the club.
