Chukwudalu impressed Marcus Bignot and Russ O’Neill in pre-season training and signed first team forms on 3rd October 2020.
Wakefield lad Chukwudalu Molokwu has developed a lot over the past season.
He is strong, quick and athletic and alongside his development with the Youth team and first team, his time spent with Wakefield AFC with former Lions’ manager Adam Lockwood has aided his development.
On 29th November 2020 Chuk signed a first team contract, just ten days after his 18th birthday, he was named on the bench on 5th December 2020 in the 3-1 loss to Brackley Town.
Chuk made his first team debut away at Stockport County in the Buildbase FA Trophy on 19th December 2020 coming on as a substitute before being rewarded with his first start a week later on Boxing Day at home to Farsley.
On 17th June 2021 Chuk signed a new contract for the 2021/22 season, the defender said: “Being with the first team group at Guiseley is amazing. The lads have been great to us young ones and it has improved my game and especially my confidence. Hamza has given me so many tips and it has paid off in my game. The guidance he has given me has been immaculate. It would be awesome to play alongside him in the first team.”
“I am looking forward to playing in front of the Guiseley fans, they have shown me a lot of love and support via social media when I made my debut and when I have played for the Academy.”
Chuk spent time out on loan with Sheffield FC from 12th August 2021 to 18th September 2021 making six appearances.
On 15th June 2022 it was announced that Chuk had been released by the club at the end of his contract.
