The striker joined the club on a one month loan deal from The Tykes, on 21st December 2019, where he has played for their U23’s after signing from Bury in July, this loan move was later extended until the end of the season on 6th March 2020.

Standing at 6ft 2 inches tall 20 year-old Sang started his career at Wigan Athletic before The Shakers moved to sign him on a two-year deal.

Whilst at Bury Chris has spent time out on loan at Southport, Marine and Altrincham to boost his experience of first team football.

He was Wigan Athletic U18’s leading goal scorer with 22 goals in 30 appearances which prompted the move to Gigg Lane.

Sang made his debut an hour after signing and played the full 90 minutes in our draw at Hereford.

Following the conclusion of the 2019/20 season Sang returned to parent club Barnsley.
