Adam joined the club on 25th November 2022 after a spell away from the game.

The central defender made over 500 appearances for Matlock Town across a twelve year stay.

Yates clocked up over half a century of games for the Derbyshire side after joining them from Shirebrook Town in the 2008/09 campaign.

On 23rd December 2022 it was confirmed that Adam had left the club and returned to Matlock Town after making two Lions appearances.
