Adam joined the club on loan from Sunderland on 23rd March 2023.

He has been with the Black Cats since he was eight years old and has featured for their U18 and U21 sides in recent years.

He signed a professional deal in 2020 and was a part of the first team’s pre-season tour of Portugal in the summer.

The 19 year-old has also represented England at youth level and has been included in a few Papa John’s Trophy squads this season.

On 19th May 2023 it was announced that Adam had returned to Sunderland following the end of his loan move.
