Guiseley host Oxford City in the Blue Square Bet North this Saturday, hoping to collect another three points for their promotion push.
The Lions have enjoyed wins over Bishop’s Stortford and Corby Town in the last week, ensuring that the pressure was kept on leaders Chester, who overcame Oxford on Wednesday night.
The last time the Lions faced City, they left Court Place Farm with the points after a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Wayne Brooksby, Josh Wilson and Nicky Boshell.
Oxford City, who gained promotion to the Blue Square Bet North last season, have enjoyed a good start to life in the division, sitting comfortably in ninth place.
Following Saturday’s game, Guiseley travel to face Corby Town on Saturday 19th January before returning home to meet Harrogate Railway Athletic in the West Riding County Cup Semi-Final the following Tuesday.
