Guiseley are back out on the road this weekend as they travel to Brackley. The Saints go into the game with many positives, but with Guiseley having their position in the table out of their own hands, The Lions will be desperate to take three points from their playoff rivals. The big question being, who wants it more?
The Lions
The play off chase took another twist for Guiseley on Tuesday night when The Lions were beaten by a Darlington side that may have felt relieved to have come away with all three points. Aaron Martin is now back fully into the first team fold following a good display against Gloucester and completing 90 minutes in the loss to Darlington. Prince Ekpolo impressed in his substitute appearance and could push for a start. Kaine Felix will look to bag another goal and see if he can continue his impressive run of form. Young academy graduates Nathan Newall and Scott Smith could offer something different from the bench, as Guiseley attempt to avenge the 2-0 home loss earlier in the season.
Brackley Town
Long serving manager Kevin Wilkin will look to do the double over the lions and dust his team off following a 1-0 defeat at Boston United on Tuesday night. Captain Gareth Dean will lead from the back and The Lions will do well to overrun the Brackley centre back partnership. Lee Ndvolu caused havoc at Nethermoor Park last time out and will look to add to his 15 goals, James Armson has 9 from midfield.
In Comparison:
Guiseley league position: 7th
Brackley league position: 3rd
Guiseley last 5: WLDWL
Brackley last 5: WDWWL
Guiseley top scorer: Aaron Martin (16)
Brackley top scorer: Lee Ndvolu (15)
Come on Guiseley!
