In-form striker Oli Johnson has today signed extended terms with the club. Also today, 30 year-old forward Danny Forrest has left the club by mutual consent.
Johnson has been in sparkling form in recent weeks, with multiple man-of-the-match awards collected alongside several goals and assists, and has now committed his medium-term future to the club with his new deal.
Popular forward Forrest ends his third spell at the club in search of regular first-team football. He will be remembered by fans for some of his trademark long-distance goals, most memorably the halfway line lob against Harrogate Railway in the West Riding County Cup that became a viral hit on YouTube. He leaves on the best of terms with all at Guiseley AFC and we wish him well for the future.
