Noah Is Richards’ Man

We are delighted to announce the signing of Noah Wadsworth following his departure from Buxton.

21 year-old Noah is a right back by trade but can also play across the back four and in midfield.

He joined Buxton ahead of the season and featured in their opening day 2-1 win over current National League North leaders Hereford.

On the signing Ian Richards said: “We have signed Noah Wadsworth from Buxton, previously at Bradford City, Hull City, he also had successful loan periods at Boston United and Scarborough during his time at Hull. He can play anywhere across the back four or in midfield so will give us extra depth through this busy period of games.”

Wadsworth came through the youth set up at Valley Parade with Bradford City but has gained experience of men’s football away from the League One side.

Whilst with the Bantams he was loaned out to Tadcaster and Farsley Celtic – the latter loan move triggered a recall after his former boss Graham Alexander was impressed by the youngster.

He did make two senior appearances for City in League Two coming off the bench against Gillingham and Harrogate Town.

At the end of the 2023/24 campaign Noah departed Bradford City and signed for Hull City.

He spent two years with them but continued to build up his experience of senior football.

Whilst with the Tigers Noah enjoyed loan spells with Chester, Boston United and Scarborough Athletic.

Noah is eligible to feature in this afternoon’s league trip to Avro.
