We are delighted to announce that another of our Academy players has signed first team forms with 16 year-old Nathan Newall having added his name to the list of Academy products in the current first team squad.
A versatile player Nathan is primarily a left-back but can also play as a left winger or striker.
He comes from Baildon and has previous experience with the junior teams at Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers.
Nathan joined Guiseley in the Under-16s in 2017.
He caught the eye of the Guiseley management duo Marcus Bignott and Russ O’Neill when the Academy trounced Rossington Main 11-0 in last Tuesday night’s FA Youth Cup tie at Nethermoor.
Nathan joins fellow Academy players Fletch Paley, Tabish Hussain, Jake Young, Jack Lazenby and Luke Hogg on first team forms with Hussain, 17, having already made his first team debut this season.
Former Academy players Will Thornton and Scott Smith have also figured in the first team this season.
