We can confirm that defender Nathan Newall has signed a dual-registration deal with Frickley Athletic.

The 17 year-old left back graduated through Guiseley Academy last season signing first team forms a day before our Emirates FA Cup trip to Staveley Miners Welfare.

Nathan impressed in pre-season and has remained around the first team squad before earning SRUSA’s ‘Most Valuable Player’ award at their pre-season tournament which Dave Currie’s Young Lions won.

Newall made his debut for the Bet Victor South East Division side in their 3-2 defeat at Carlton Town, the youngster was described to have had an “outstanding game” by his new side in their match report.

The move allows Nathan to gain experience of senior football but also he can feature for The Lions.
