Please note – Tuesday’s replay will be segregated with FC Halifax Town fans having the Railway End of the ground.

After a dramatic afternoon at The Shay on Saturday, the Lions welcome FC Halifax Town for an FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay at Nethermoor on Tuesday.

Adam Boyes was the hero at the weekend as his two goals sealed a second-half fightback to take the contest into a replay after Sam Walker and Kingsley James had given the Shaymen a two-goal lead at the break.

Mark Bower will hope his side can come out of the traps quicker this time around, with both sides knowing their potential opponents in the first round come kick-off following the televised live draw at 7pm on BBC Two on Monday.

“I thought we were quite poor first half,” Boyes said after Saturday’s game.

“Bows got into us at half-time and said that we could still win the game – we felt we could and we came out second half and pressed them a lot better, we got our rewards in the end and got it to a replay.”

“We know that if we play to our best, we have enough to win the game, simple as that, but we’ve got to start better than we did on Saturday.

“I think if we do that we’ll be through to the next round.”

Bower will once again be without the suspended Gavin Rothery and ineligible Barnsley loanee George Maris.

As ever we ask home and away supporters travelling by car to use the free car park on Netherfield Road – just a short walk from Nethermoor.
