Management team remain at Nethermoor

Guiseley AFC are delighted to announce that Steve Kittrick and his management team of Chris Holland and Martin Stringfellow are to remain at the club next season.

As such, negotiations are already underway with players who the club wish to retain in addition to those players on contract (Jack Rea, Wayne Brooksby, Phil Marsh, Gavin Rothery and Zack Dale).

The club are also pleased to announce that the first phase of planning for considerable enhancement to the facilities at Nethermoor is now ongoing with Watson Batty engaged as lead architects. This work will proceed over the coming months and will provide a facility fully supporting the club’s ambition on and off the pitch.

As always both the playing and ground development budgets will need to be carefully managed. To this end the club will continue to try and attract young, hungry players via the Youth Academy and other sources in order that the progress the club has made in the past five years can continue

Work on the pitch is also underway to further enhance our playing surface.

In terms of departures, the club can confirm that Sean O’Reilly has returned to the USA while Kevin Holsgrove has accepted an offer from FC Halifax Town. The club wishes them both the best of luck in the future.

As the position becomes clearer on both player recruitment and ground developments, further announcements will be made.
