We are delighted to announce that Lucas Odunston has signed a new contract with the club for the 2026/27 season.

Lucas joined the Lions in July 2024 on a free transfer from Bradford (Park Avenue) and has made 55 appearances for the club in his two seasons at Nethermoor.

Odunston played 34 times in the 2025/26 campaign only missing two games since Ian Richards was appointed manager in November last year.

The right back has been a consistent performer and will hope to add more appearances to his Lions total next season.

The 25 year-old started his career with Leeds United, where he spend 11 years, before spending two seasons in Hull City’s academy set up.

Lucas caught the attention of Mark Bower at Bradford (Park Avenue) and played at the Horsfall for three campaigns.
