Louie Swain Is Back!

Guiseley AFC have signed a player they once had on loan from Bradford City in 23 year-old Louie Swain.

Louie began his footballing career at Bradford City at the age of 13 and signed professional forms in 2013 before going out on loan to firstly Bradford Park Avenue and then Guiseley.

At that time a striker Louie remained with Guiseley, under former City Captain Mark Bower, from September to December of 2013.
In August 2014 he joined Harrogate Town on a free transfer and was then turned into a left-back.

He settled into that position nailing down a place in Simon Weaver’s 2015-16 defensive unit until former Leeds United and Guiseley player Ben Parker arrived at Wetherby Road.

Swain moved on to seek regular football at Spennymoor Town at the beginning of the 2016/17 season but he returned to Harrogate later on in the season.
