The Vanarama National league leaders Lincoln City head to Nethermoor on Boxing Day in the first fixture of a festive double header.

This is an all-ticket match with no sales on the turnstile, tickets for home fans can be purchased online here.

The Lions come into the match on a good run of form, particularly at Nethermoor, with the last defeat on their own patch coming against the Imps in an FA Cup replay back in October.

In all competitions Adam Lockwood’s side are currently on a six-match unbeaten streak including Saturday’s draw at Woking.

The Imps are currently in blistering form with a record of seven wins on the spin in all competitions and only four draws in their last 17 fixtures, their last taste of defeat came at Dover on 24th September.

Boss Adam Lockwood was pleased with the performance in Saturday’s draw against the Cards.

“We looked and performed well throughout the full 90 minutes now and we are developing into consistent performers, it’s another clean sheet too.”

“I think there was a few chances to score goals as well, I’ve just told the lads the good thing is we are getting the chances” said Lockwood following picking up a fourth away point of the season.”

“All over the pitch I thought everybody performed very well today.”

“There’s a lot of quality in the dressing room, I’m sure it will click and they’ll start scoring on a regular basis.”

When asked about Lincoln City Lockwood was quick to state that the Imps are a good side.

“I think they are a great side, they will give us more of a test in certain areas.”

“It will definitely be a tough couple of games over the Christmas period.”

Adam also feels the Lions will have to be at their very best to ensure a positive result in the festive double header.

“To get anything out of the two games we will have to be right on our game and at the minute we are approaching that.”

“I’m asking for consistency and standards we set to be met as much as possible and at the moment we are doing, sometimes results come for you and sometimes they don’t.”

“It will be a very good test for us to see just how far we have actually come.”

Tickets for home fans are available to purchase online.

The Supporters’ Club Christmas Cash Draw is taking place after the match.
