We are delighted to announce striker Aaron Martin as our first signing in preparation for the forthcoming season in the Motorama National League North.

Martin was a prolific scorer with Brighouse Town last season netting 30 goals in 42 games when he also had 11 assists to his name.

A very popular player with Brighouse he picked up the Player-of-the-Year award as well as Top Goalscorer and Player’s Player-of-the Year in his first season with them.

From the age of eight Martin was with Sheffield United before moving on to the Barnsley Academy at the age of 12 and then later returning to The Blades.

The 6ft tall Sheffield-born player, 27, joined Staveley MW at the age of 17, spending a season there before moving on to Worksop Parramore.

Martin then spent a season at Goole AFC before moving to Sheffield FC for a five year spell before he joined Brighouse Town.
