It is the third season on the spin the Greater Manchester based side will make the trip over to Nethermoor Park for a friendly.
County missed out on promotion back to the EFL with a play off defeat to eventual winners Hartlepool United and will be going full tilt for another challenge next season.
The Lions also travelled to Edgeley Park during the cut short 2020/21 season for a Buildbase FA Trophy Third Round in which County came out on top for the first time in seven competitive matches between the two sides.
Stockport are now managed by Simon Rusk following Jim Gannon’s departure during last season but there’s two familiar faces in their squad in former Lions Ash Palmer and John Rooney.
It is the eighth confirmed friendly for The Lions with home games against Everton U23’s, Bradford City, Leeds United and FC Halifax Town and away trips to Ilkley Town, Yorkshire Amateur and Gainsborough Trinity.
