This Saturday, Guiseley face Gloucester City at Nethermoor Park, and the Lions will be hoping to keep up their 100-per-cent record.
They will go into the game full of confidence after their two recent 2-0 victories, at home
against Gainsborough Trinity and away at Workington.
Guiseley, who have won all their home and away games, have enjoyed an impressive start
to the season, with fifteen goals scored and only two conceded, and some notable performance as
well.
Manager Steve Kittrick will be hoping new signings Andy McWilliams, Nicky Boshell and Josh Wilson keep up their impressive early-season form, alongside in-form and ever-present midfielder Gavin Rothery.
Gav has recovered from an injury-hit season last year to win the Blue Square Bet North
Player of the Month award for August, while goalkeeper Steve Drench will hope to keep his third
clean sheet in a row.
With away trips to Colwyn Bay and Chester up next for Guiseley, this is their last home game for
two weeks.
Gloucester City’s opening games have seen mixed results with one win, one draw and two losses.
The last time the teams met at Nethermoor, just a few months ago on April 3rd, Guiseley won 3-2 in a close game and they will be hoping for a repeat performance and another victory to make it five wins from five.
Admission prices for the match are just £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for 12-16-year-olds.
The match sponsor for the game is Clipper Logistics
