Guiseley progressed through to the West Riding County Cup Final for the second season in succession with a hard fought semi-final victory at Wetherby Road where goals from Gabriel Jonson and Jamie Spencer cancelled out an equaliser from Kian Harratt.
Harrogate had goalkeeper Joseph Cracknell to thank for keeping them in the tie as he made a string of superb saves to deny the Lions but was eventually beaten by Johnson’s spot kick after Kennedy Digie had been felled in the box.
Harratt then finished off a sweeping move for Town before Spencer’s glancing header from a corner put the Lions through to the Final where they will play the winners of the other semi-final between Thackley and Farsley which is scheduled for Tuesday 25th February.
The details of the West Riding County Cup Final will be confirmed and announced on the website once these have been finalised.
