We are delighted to announce that we have taken up an option in Sam Bentley’s contract ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 20 year-old, who can play in both midfield and defence, will remain at Nethermoor for the 25/26 season.

Bentley arrived at Nethermoor last summer and went on to make 25 appearances and scoring his first Lions goal in a 4-2 win at Ashton United.

Sam graduated from Bradford City’s academy and won the Bantams’ Academy Player of the Season Award at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

He had a loan spell with Brighouse Town last season having also appeared on loan for them whilst with Bradford City.
