Guiseley manager Steve Kittrick has wasted no time in plugging the gap left by top-scorer James Walshaw’s departure; having signed Harrogate Town striker Lee Ellington as well as Goole frontman Gavin Allott.
Thirty year old Ellington has a wealth of experience at Blue Square North level having played for Gainsborough Trinity, Stalybridge Celtic, Farsley, Droylsden and Harrogate Town. Allott, 25, joins after hitting over 50 goals in his last two seasons for the East Yorkshire club.
The Lions don’t look to be short on firepower for the coming season having previously added Danny Forrest, Alex Davidson and Peter Davidson over the past few weeks.
