We are delighted to announce the signing of Chris Sang on loan from Barnsley ahead of a packed festive schedule.

The striker joins the club on a one month loan deal from The Tykes where he has played for their U23’s after signing from Bury in July 2019.

Standing at 6ft 2 inches tall 20 year-old Sang started his career at Wigan Athletic before The Shakers moved to sign him on a two-year deal.

Whilst at Bury Chris has spent time out on loan at Southport, Marine and Altrincham to boost his experience of first team football.

He was Wigan Athletic U18’s leading goal scorer with 22 goals in 30 appearances which prompted the move to Gigg Lane.

Sang will be a boost to Marcus and Russ’ squad as we face four games in twelve days over Christmas.

Chris has been registered in time to feature in today’s trip to Hereford.
