Lions Sign Mo Fadera

We are delighted to announce the signing of Mo Fadera on loan from York City.

The 21 year-old forward is known for his pace and will remain with Ian Richards’ side until the end of the season.

Fadera joined York in September 2024 after impressing against the Minstermen in a pre-season friendly.

Mo secured a trial with York after his performance in the friendly and was signed up by then boss Adam Hinshelwood.

Last season he helped Scunthorpe to promotion from the National League North via the play offs.

Mo signed for the Iron on loan in January 2025 before having his deal extended with them until the end of the season.

He made 19 appearances for the side based at Glanford Park and scored three goals.

Gambian born Fadera started his career with Hamilton Panthers in York before moving to Garforth.

Whilst with York the forward has had a few loan spells including time with Farsley Celtic and Worksop Town.

Welcome to Guiseley Mo!

Meanwhile we can confirm that Archie Christie-Crainie and Lewis Gould have both left the club following the end of their loan moves and returned to their parent clubs.

Sheffield United winger, Archie, played in all eight games during his time with Ian Richards’ side and scored on his debut in a 3-1 win at Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Lewis made five appearances during his one month stay with the Lions and is now back in South Yorkshire with Barnsley.

We thank them both for their efforts whilst with the club and wish them the best of luck for the future.
