We have taken Northampton Town’s ‘keeper Luke Coddington on loan until the end of the season to join our other young stopper Joe Green in the squad.

Coddington, 22, joined Huddersfield Town on a free transfer in July 2016 after his contract at Middlesbrough ended.

He never made a first team appearance for Town but had a loan spell at Wrexham and made 15 appearances for Town’s Under-23s.

He signed on a free transfer for Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town from The Terriers in August 2017.

Coddington will take up the number one shirt during his time at the club.
