Cav Miley’s first-minute header set Eastleigh on their way to a win over struggling Guiseley in the National League.
Although Rowan Liburd levelled for the visitors after 19 minutes, further strikes from Chris Zebroski and Mark Yeates earned the points for the Spitfires.
Miley nodded in at the near post from a corner just seconds in to the match.
Guiseley responded well, with Mike Fondop forcing a goalline clearance from Andrew Boyce before his cross found Liburd, who smashed it home.
Fondop almost put the visitors in front three minutes later but for a fine save from Ross Flitney, but Eastleigh would soon take control.
Zebroski restored their lead after 36 minutes, firing past Jonny Maxted after being left with time and space from a free-kick.
It was 3-1 just before the hour when Flitney’s free-kick found Yeates to slot past Maxted.
Callum Howe then essentially sealed it in the 64th minute, firing home the rebound after Maxted denied Yeates.
Guiseley got a late goal back after Sam Wood fouled James Roberts, who stepped up to convert the penalty.
