Lions Share day to take place on April 21st

Guiseley AFC are to make the final home game of the season, against Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday April 21st, Lions Share day.

Our average attendance has risen this season and we are grateful for all your support but we are always on the lookout for more and that is what the day is all about. We would encourage all our regular fans to try and bring at least one friend along to the game to witness what could be the last game at Nethermoor this season.

Just bringing one extra person with you through the turnstiles will really help the club in showcasing itself to potential new fans as we look to grow and improve off the field.

As a club, we will be running a competition for two free tickets on our Facebook and Twitter platforms and we will also be offering half-price entry for fans of Football League sides as well as our student deal of pie, pint and entry for just £10.

To be in with a chance of winning simply retweet or share the appropriate message on our Twitter and Facebook pages. For Football League clubs’ supporters, all you need to do is show a season ticket valid for the current season at the turnstile when you enter.

For the pie and pint deal, valid student ID will need to be shown at the turnstile as well as proof of age at the bar if requested.  On evidence of student ID, you will be given a coupon for a pie/sausage roll/cornish pasty and a pint of draught bitter/lager/cider or soft drink.

Club secretary Adrian Towers says: “A bumper attendance will really help both the club and the players during this crucial time of the season as we strive for the Blue Square Bet Premier division.”
