Guiseley made it back-to-back home wins in the Vanarama National League on Saturday with a 3-1 over nine-man Barrow at Nethermoor.
Following victory over Welling United last time out, the Lions made the ideal start this weekend when Danny Boshell headed in the opener from close range five minutes in.
Rob Atkinson doubled the lead prior to the half-hour mark only for Andy Cook to give Barrow hope with a penalty on the stroke of half-time – Ryan Toulson penalised for handling in the area.
However, after David Mellor was shown a second yellow card, Bury loanee Anthony Dudley took the game away from the visitors with his third goal for the club.
Nick Anderton was shown a straight red card 12 minutes from time, as Mark Bower’s men closed out the game ahead of a trip to Cheltenham Town on Tuesday.
