Guiseley return to Skrill North action on Saturday against Histon after a two weeks without a game.
The Lions will be hoping to gain their first win in the league since the 1-0 victory against Workington and know that even a point could see Guiseley leave the relegation zone.
Manager Mark Bower is still looking for his first win at Nethermoor and said after the 4-1 loss away at Altrincham that the two-week break would be put to good effect.
“I expected us to win at Altrincham, but we are looking forward to Histon. We have two weeks where we can do some proper work on the training ground, it’s going to be a long two weeks,” he said.
Michael Potts who scored Guiseley’s goal during the 4-1 defeat added: “We are itching to get back playing; it will feel like a long two weeks.”
Histon are yet to beat Guiseley in four attempts, with the sides drawing twice in the 2011/12 season before the Lions did the double in the last campaign.
Brian Page’s men are currently ninth in the Skrill North table but will be aiming to end a winless run of their own, having lost their last three league matches.
We would like to thank Total Training Solutions for their kind sponsorship of Saturday’s match.
The club are also pleased to welcome Leeds Student TV to Saturday’s game. They will be providing video highlights of our home games from now on.
