Guiseley host Solihull Moors this Saturday in the Blue Square Bet North, and they will be hoping to gain revenge against the Midlands-based club for the defeat they suffered when the sides last met.
The Lions went down 2-0 in a poor showing at Damson Park earlier this season, Jay Denny and Tom Kemp getting on the scoresheet in the second half to ensure that they returned to Nethermoor empty handed.
However, after some shaky recent form, the Lions have achieved two consecutive wins and they will be hoping to keep the run going when they face a Moors side currently in tenth place.
Guiseley Manager Steve Kittrick said after Saturday’s 3-0 win over Droylsden, “I think the lads are looking forward to playing them [Solihull], because we owe them one. We played well at their place and didn’t leave with anything so it’s a chance to get our own back and get another three points in the bag.”
The Lions’ are at home again next Tuesday, 19th March, when they entertain Altrincham.
They then visit Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday 23rd March before a tough trip to Play-Off contenders Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday, 30th March.
Admission this Saturday is £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and £4 for 12-to-16 year-olds, with kick-off at 3 pm.
