With the season now at an end we can confirm that our four loan players have returned to their parent clubs.
We’d like to thank Victor Nirennold, James Roberts, Luke Coddington and Ellis Hudson for their efforts whilst with the Lions.
Victor Nirennold joined at the beginning of February and has been an ever-present at right back since then, making 13 appearances.
He did pick up a red card in defeat at Bromley with a harsh second yellow, he is now back at Fleetwood Town preparing for next season where Joey Barton becomes their manager in July.
James Roberts made the switch to the Lions in late December playing 18 times scoring three goals which all came on the road at Chester, AFC Fylde and a penalty against Eastleigh.
The forward has since been released by Oxford United and is now on the hunt for a new club.
Luke Coddington signed at the end of January following Jonny Maxted’s transfer to Accrington Stanley and made 11 appearances, he also picked up a red card.
The goalkeeper is back at Northampton Town who may find themselves playing League 2 football next season with The Cobblers three points from safety with one game remaining.
Finally Ellis Hudson made the short journey from Bradford City at the back end of March but has struggled for game time getting only 90 minutes across two matches but did score in the eight goal thriller with Dagenham and Redbridge.
Good luck for the future lads!
