We are delighted to announce the signing of Luke Partington on loan from Stockport County until the end of the season.

The defender has been on loan with Atherton Collieries since January and made nine appearances for them.

The County youth player made his senior debut in the EFL Trophy in a 3-1 win at Salford City in October.

Partington played against the Lions for Atherton earlier this month and earned a man of the match award on his debut for The Colls in January.

Luke was signed before the player registration deadline on Thursday and will be eligible to face Lancaster City at Nethermoor tomorrow.
