Lions land 3rd Round trip to Cambridge

The Lions’ reward for Saturday’s win over Stalybridge is a trip to Blue Square Premier side Cambridge United on Saturday 04 February 2012.

United lie eighth in the table, just outside the play-off places, having played 28 games, won 12, drawn 10 and lost 6, amassing 46 points. Their progress to the last 16 of the Trophy has seen them win 1-0 at Boreham Wood followed by a 4-1 home win against our old rivals AFC Telford United in Saturday’s Second Round.

Cambridge play at The R Costings Abbey Stadium, located on Newmarket Road, Cambridge, CB5 8LN,  which is 163 miles from Nethermoor (Google Maps), and the journey takes just over three hours.   Cambridge website
