Looking to register their fourth successive win the Lions had to settle for a goalless draw against Boreham Wood at Meadow Park this afternoon.

The Lions had to absorb some sustained first half pressure with Jonathan Maxted keeping the visitors in the game helped by two goal line clearances and Femi Ilesanmi missing a glorious chance. A

The visitors lost Elliot Green to injury in the second period and although Guiseley came more into the game in the second half scoring chances were at a premium as the home side registered their third goalless draw for the third time in four games.

The Lions are now in sixteenth place, seven points above the drop zone.
