Michael Potts’ first goal for Guiseley was not enough to ensure three points for the Lions at Whaddon Road.
The visitors began well, with Phil Marsh having two good efforts on goal, while Scott Wilson and Darren Mullings threatened for Gloucester.
However, Potts opened his account for the club to put his side ahead after 19 minutes.
The hosts thought they had hit back when Wilson put the ball in the net but it was ruled offside by the linesman, while Potts had a good opportunity to double Guiseley’s lead before the break.
Gloucester came out of the traps well after the interval and were eventually level after 73 minutes through Darren Edwards.
Danny Ellis fouled Wilson in the box and Edwards coolly tucked the ball past Steven Drench in the Guiseley goal.
While the hosts went in search of a winner, Guiseley too had chances with Adam Priestley having the ball in the net before the linesman’s flag put paid to the travelling contingent’s celebrations.
Guiseley are now unbeaten in four games and welcome Brackley Town on Saturday.
