Chorley defeated Stafford Rangers 1-0 in tonights delayed FA Trophy tie and now host the Lions this coming Saturday (3:00pm) in the First Round Proper. This sees the Lions return to the scene of one of the most important events in the clubs recent history when a 3-2 win in the Conference North Play-Off Final clinched a place in the National League.

No doubt the Lancatrians will be looking to avenge that setback and are going well this season as they sit in third place in the National League North on 40 points having played 20, won 11, drawn 7 and lost 2. And with thirty goals scored and just fourteen conceeded they are in good form so all seems set for a competitive tie.
