Maidstone United travel to Nethermoor on Saturday as Guiseley look to continue their unbeaten home run.

The last side to leave LS20 with three points were Macclesfield Town back in September.

If the Lions avoid defeat this weekend the unbeaten run would be extended to eight games in the Vanarama National League.

The Stones are currently on a bad run in the league with no wins in December and a heavy 4-1 defeat at home to Dover Athletic on New Year’s Day.

The Lions also lost on 1st January at Sincil Bank but picked up five points last month beating Lincoln City and draws against Chester and Woking respectively.

The two sides last faced each other back in September when a late equaliser from former Lions loanee Reece Webb-Foster saw the match end 1-1 after Alex Flisher netted in the first half.

Speaking after the 3-1 defeat on New Year’s Day Adam Lockwood said “It gives me a lot of credit that we can come and compete and at times do really well against a good side.”

“That’s what makes you frustrated when things out of your hands spoil all the hard work that the club have put in, not just the lads on the pitch.”

Adam Boyes and captain Danny Lowe will both be suspended for the match but Michael Rankine returns following his red card on Boxing Day.

Simon Walton will be available for selection after signing a new deal this week.

Tickets are available to buy online.
