We are delighted to announce the signing of Spanish Defender Alejandro Machado who came through Real Madrid’s youth setup.

The 22 year-old spent over six years with the La Liga side in their academy set up before moving to England to play for a number of clubs in the south of the country.

Alejandro, who is described on Real Madrid’s website as being “technically good, especially with his left foot”, dangerous in “offensive positions”, having a “good shot” and “effective in the passing game” made his debut at Marine yesterday.

Alejandro, who has also played for South Park in the Isthmian South Central division, has been at Woodford Town in the Essex Senior League Premier Division this season.

Machado has made 28 appearances this campaign and has struck seven goals to help fire his former side to fourth in the league.
