Guiseley extended their unbeaten run to three games after twice coming from behind to grab a point in a scrappy encounter at Leamington this afternoon.
.
The home side opened the scoring on 36’ after Matt Stenson latched on to a ball over the top and touched it past Jon Worsnop.
Eleven minutes later the visitors were level after Paul Clayton bundled home a loose ball after home keeper Tony Breeden had fumbled a shot.
The Lions were caught out again by another ball in behind the back four leaving Junior English to slide in and restore the home sides advantage midway through the second period.
However, with one minute of normal time remaining Reece Thompson managed to get free of his marker and cross low into the six yard box for Rowan Liburd to apply the finishing touch.
The result leaves the Lions still searching for their first win of the new campaign but they have an early opportunity to redress the situation as bottom of the table Nuneaton Town are the visitors to Nethermoor next Saturday (ko 3.00pm).
