Leeds United have selected Guiseley AFC’s Nethermoor Park ground to stage some of their Under-23 league games.

United’s rising stars are expected to play seven home games plus any PL cup matches at Nethermoor on Monday evenings, Kick-off for all games will be at 7pm and these are:

Monday 13th August v Coventry

Monday 27th August v QPR

Monday 19th November v Birmingham City

Monday 17th December v Barnsley

Monday 14th January v Crewe Alexandra

Monday 28th January v Sheffield United

Monday 18th February v Bolton Wanderers

Some games may be subject to change due to our own involvement in cup competitions.

The PL cup is yet to be drawn, this starts with a group stage with three home games and three away games.

Depending on the draw, these fixtures also look like being played at Nethermoor Park.

Entry to all Leeds United Under 23’s games will be free for Guiseley AFC season ticket holders but Guiseley season ticket holders’ seat reservations are not applicable for these games.

Admission for others will be £3 adults, £1 concessions and under-18s.

We have good links with Leeds United having midfielder Alex Purver on loan from the Elland Road club before his move was made permanent.

Purver’s fellow Lions midfielder Will Hatfield also came through the ranks at Leeds while other young players have been loaned to us by Leeds, including Billy Whitehouse.

For a number of seasons Leeds have played a pre-season friendly at Nethermoor and have been impressed by the quality of the pitch.

Major benefactor Steve Parkin supports Leeds United by sponsoring a stand and the back of the players’ shirts through his company Clipper Logistics.
