We are pleased to announce that Jake Lawlor has signed an improved two-year deal with the club.

The 25-year-old imposing midfielder has become a fans’ favourite since joining midway through the 2012/13 season and Mark Bower is clearly delighted to secure his services; “Jake has made great progress in the past three seasons and grown in to one of our most important players.

“When we first took over, it looked like he was heading out of the club, but we recognised his potential and Jake thrived on being given the opportunity and has now become a player who is on the radar of football league clubs.

We’re delighted he’s signed a new deal and look forward to him continuing his progress with us.”
