These are the latest photos of the close-season refurbishment taking place at Nethermoor, where the new drainage system seems to be performing wonders in keeping the pitch dry. Photos show where the new turf is being laid over the new drainage channels, which also extends the pitch by about two metres down the Main Stand touchline.

The space behind the goal at the Car Park End has also been increased by moving the pitch slightly towards the Railway End. Two replacement fences and new dugouts are on order, as are the new goalposts and nets, the last being paid for by the latest contribution from the Supporters’ Club. With two new forwards signed earlier today, let’s hope they’re put to good use!
