Guiseley welcome Tamworth to Nethermoor this Saturday after three consecutive wins in all competitions.
After a mini-break from the Vanarama Conference North to play in the FA and West Riding County Cups, Mark Bower and his men will be looking to perform how they did in their last league outing where they beat Oxford City 4-0.
The Lions are now unbeaten in their last six games including cup matches and have kept clean sheets in their last three with Mark Bower eager to continue this form against a side who recently appointed Andy Morrell as their new manager.
“Tamworth have a new manager so it’s hard to know what they will try do,” he said.
“But we won our last home league game so hopefully we’ll get a positive result.”
Tamworth however have only one league win from a possible ten this season and are currently 19th in the Conference North table – a place and a point above the relegation zone.
However, in their first game with Morrell at the helm, the Lambs beat Rushall Olympic 2-1 in the FA Cup.
The Lambs have only managed nine goals in the league so far this season with three of their players tied as top goal-scorers with two goals. apiece
Guiseley’s top goal scorer this season is Adam Boyes with five in the league and he will be looking to add to that tally on Saturday.
