Guiseley Ladies travelled to Hull City in hopes to pick up their first 3 points of the season0. Hull Went 1-0 in the first 5 minutes with a quick break and a long range shot giving the away team an early warning. Hull quickly extended the lead to 3-0 despite Guiseley playing some good football, especially down the left hand side with Sarah Dickens putting in a cross which was deflected into the goal from the Hull City defender. Guiseley continued to battle in the 2nd half and were unlucky not to score with Caroline Hulme and Amy Parker both hitting the cross bar. Kristy Rimpas gave way for Lindsey Hopton, which gave the Guiseley girls a new lease of life.
Caroline Cropp scored her 2nd goal of the season with a superb cross from Sarah Cromack which caused the keeper to fumble and drop the ball which Caroline put in the back of the net. Sadly Guiseley could not capitalise on their second half performance and the game ended 3-2 will Hull taking the 3 points.
