We’re pleased to announce that Mansfield Town midfielder Kevan Hurst has joined on loan until the end of the season.

The 31 year-old Chesterfield-born player has a wealth of Football League experience behind him having started his career with Sheffield United.

The 6ft tall player had loan spells at Boston United, Stockport, Chesterfield and Scunthorpe before joining the latter in 2007.

He made 66 appearances for them before moving on to Walsall and then spent four years at Southend prior to joining Mansfield in 2016.
