Jordan Thewlis Under Contract For 2025/26

We are delighted to announce that Jordan Thewlis remains under contract with the club for the 2025/26 campaign.

The forward, who is in his second spell at Nethermoor, returned to LS20 in the summer from Alfreton Town where he had finished the campaign as their top scorer.

Thewlis’ playing time during the 2024/25 season was limited due to a groin injury but he did strike seven goals in 21 appearances.

The 32 year-old forward was edging closer to fitness as the season came to a close.

His last game was in February where he struck home a penalty in a 1-1 draw with Ilkeston Town on home ground.

Jordan has vast experience at higher levels having come through Scunthorpe United’s academy before going on to play for Corby Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Harrogate Town, Boston United and Spennymoor Town.

More information on further players under contract and our full retained list will be announced in the coming days.
