We are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jonny Maxted from Forest Green Rovers on a three month loan deal.

With the announcement today of Tim Deasy’s departure from the club, Interim Manager Adam Lockwood has moved quickly to add 22 year-old stopper Maxted to his first team squad.

Previously at Doncaster Rovers and Hartlepool, Jonny is the nephew of Paul Maxted, the goalkeeper in our 1991 FA Vase-winning team. He made 20 appearances in the National League for Forest Green last season before injury curtailed his season.
